Trava was recently invited to attend Phocuswright with a speaking slot given to our very own Maxim Sevastianov. Phocuswright is a premier online travel and technology event for travel industry executives, influencers and thought leaders. The theme this year was a ‘strong & sustainable future’, a subject that fits very well with the Trava offer.
In his keynote, Maxim explained how important digitalisation is for the future not only in terms of efficiency but also in how travellers can be communicated with, in the way they want and when they want, all with that vital ingredient for today’s traveller, – easy, intuitive self-service.
The definite view from professionals at Phocuswright was that travel is coming back strongly but facing some important challenges in terms of staffing and scaling up fast enough.
For us, it was a fantastic event to introduce the new Trava brand name and catch up with colleagues and customers from across this great travel industry and of course, as a bonus, in the beautiful city of Amsterdam with some lovely spring weather as well.
